According to Dr. Tonjia Coverdale, CEO of the Virgin Is-
land Next Generation Network, or viNGN, the U.S. Vir-
gin Islands is the only state or territory in the United
States that has a broadband network running through
its entire jurisdiction. “viNGN is a world-class, cutting
edge, 100 percent fiber optic, broadband network,”
she states about the public corporation which was es-
