The managing director of Carita Jamaica Ltd. has been with the company since it was first registered and has seen every step of the process that’s taken it from a one-person operation with $20,000 in annual sales to a team of more than two dozen employees and rev- enues measured in the millions of dollars. “The produce business is not an easy business, it’s full of challenges,” she said. “And having survived to this point is quite a feat.
