The progress at Martin's Plumbing & Maintenance
Services shows no signs of stopping.
The company was formed by Martin and Debra Philbert
in 1978, and business began as a two-person venture
out of a small office on Saddle Road in Maraval – a
northern suburb of Trinidad & Tobago’s capital city,
Port of Spain. As corporate growth arrived, the busi-
ness transitioned from sole trader to limited liability
status, and was relabeled Martin's Plumbing & Main-
tenance Services Ltd. in 1984.
A 30-plus year veteran of the construction industry,
Martin Philbert holds a sanitary constructor’s license
issued by the national Water and Sewerage Authority
(WASA) and has been involved with multiple major proj-
