Working within Puerto Rico’s complex regulatory environment adds more complexity. “We have a nuanced relationship with the United States as a US territory, and many rules and regulations come from the federal government,” Conde explains. “Our customers operate under FDA requirements with regular audits, and we must comply with all those standards.” This compliance expertise becomes even more valuable when serving clients in other Caribbean nations with different regulatory frameworks.
