Barbados is home to our commercialization office, and
like Trinidad, Venezuela the United States of America
have similar type OpCo’s. Mexico houses both Re-
search and Development and another OpCo, where
briquetting capability exists. The Chilean operation is
the newest on the roster, having just ramped-up last
year.
“The bottom line,” Bodu said, “is that we can help you
stay both agile and profitable through any market con-
ditions, tap into the hidden wealth in your waste and
other manufacturing components, address and re-
solve your environmental challenges and bring a new
level of profitability to all of your operations.”
In Trinidad, Diproinduca has a workforce of 13 full-
time employees while managing a roster of 20 to 25
external contractors. The company, Bodu said, comes
armed with the technical knowledge and expertise
and is supported by highly experienced and resourced
affiliates along its value chain.
The materials ultimately arrive to the company’s
screening facilities, where DIPROINDUCA provides
screening and processing services. Upon processing,
some materials are returned to the customer to be re-
introduced (recycled) into their process while the rest
is purchased and undergoes further processing for
other uses.
“They are customers and they are providers,” Bodu
said. “That’s how the relationship works. We complete
the cycle for our customers, the steel plants, we pro-
vide the service.”
