I know, I know, I know, I know…you have been waiting all month for your current
edition of Business View Caribbean. You don’t have to be embarrassed that I
know this, or that you feel that way. I mean, what can I say? We deserve to be
anxiously awaited; anticipated with bated breath, eager eyes, fidgety hands,
and elevated, suspenseful expectations. Well, it’s true; we do deserve that level
of reliance (if you don’t mind me saying so, myself). I could easily walk you
through a half-million reasons why this is true, but let me just give you one good
reason that comes to mind.
We, here at Business View Caribbean, carefully vet every company that is, and
ever has been, featured in our pages. Sometimes this vetting takes six to eight
months or more. Some features that were being researched back in January
have just recently been cleared and classified to currently be featured in the
pages of Business View Caribbean.
You see, just because a company is successful, doesn’t mean it’s ethical. Or, just because a company is ethical,
doesn’t mean that it is practical. Or just because it’s practical, doesn’t mean it’s noble. Each and every month we
want to bring you companies that are high in character, strong in nature, and grounded in good, sound business
principles.
This issue, we bring you the Telecommunications Services of Trinidad & Tobago, otherwise known as TSTT. When
we feature a company as large as TSTT, there is so much to examine before we know that we are bringing light to a
company that is not only successful, but also caring, ethical, environmentally conscious, employee and client driven,
community oriented, and also thought of as such by its colleagues and competitors. This is what we found when we
started our research on TSTT. The employees seem genuinely happy to work there. The government of Trinidad &
Tobago is complimentary of its service and its contribution to the economic development of the islands. It appears
to be a company focused on quality, and therefore deserving of the success that it is encountering. We explore the
business-savvy mind of TSTT’s CEO, Ronald Walcott; we discuss the history and future of the company, as well as
its mission and practices that allows it to be on the cutting edge of technology, while delivering a first-rate, telecom-
munication experience.
So, if you’re doing business the right way, and feel that you’re not being noticed, I can tell you that you are absolutely
on our radar. We are comprehensive in our duties, and as previously stated worthy of your readership and your
monthly anticipation. Business View Caribbean is the best magazine for business executives in the Caribbean, and
the top business magazine in Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Cayman
Islands, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat,
Caribbean Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Saint Barthelme, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Martin, Saint Vincent
and the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, the United States Virgin Islands, Suriname, and Guyana. Just keep doing
what you do best, and know that we’ve got you covered.
Until next month, plan, build, and continue to prosper.
