Prior to the start of official activities, on Wednesday, October 1, a Session on foresight, anticipatory governance and a Pact for a Productive, Sustainable and Inclusive Future will be held. This session will present the state of the art in these areas, at a global level and in Latin America and the Caribbean, putting special emphasis on the Brazil 2050 Strategy. The Regional Council for Planning is the subsidiary body of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in charge of guiding the activities of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (ILPES).
