eral public compliance. The SLSWMA takes advantage
of every opportunity to contribute towards the educa-
tion of young people particularly through the school
system and youth groups.
The facilities available to the SLSWMA consist of the
Deglos Sanitary Landfill (DSL) in the north of the is-
land, complete with leachate-treatment ponds, and
the Vieux-Fort Solid Waste Management Facility (VF-
