At the point Jones realized that no local companies fit
those bills, he set out to create one.
“The problem in the Bahamas is that it’s difficult to
find a company that takes you from the start to the fin-
ish,” he said. “There are always a lot of issues with just
completing stuff. I always wanted a company that paid
attention to details, was on schedule all the time, and
was able to deliver a quality product at a good price.
I’d worked for construction companies before where
there was just so much disjointed stuff that just makes
life so complicated. So I tried to streamline the whole
process.”
Jones settled upon the name for the operation based
on word associations – Inline, referring to scheduling;
Project, referring to construction – and said the evo-
lution of the company came incrementally as it first
became recognized through word of mouth as a new
