UCC Leadership Symposium and culminates where it
began with the Leadercast Simulcast. According to Ad-
ams, the greatest advantage to hosting this event is
the fact that it gives every UCC student exposure to
leadership training. “That’s unparalleled; it’s revolu-
tionary,” he exults. “So not only are we looking at the
traditional academic type programs and training, but
we’re looking at real-world examples and practical ap-
proaches to leadership.”
Over the years, the expanded institution has gradu-
ated more than 65,000 individuals many of whom
have gone on to hold prominent positions in Jamaica
and elsewhere. Today, the University College of the
Caribbean (UCC) continues to prepare its students to
become business and community leaders, innovators
and scholars who will contribute to Jamaica’s growth
