thing. Now, you have to be certified. There is a certifi-
cation process to become an operator and a certifica-
tion process to become an applicator of chemicals; so
not anybody can just pick up a spray gun. You have to
renew every three years and take a certain number of
hours of courses. So the business has changed signifi-
cantly over the last eight to ten years. Three years ago
we had four technicians. We’re now up to ten, serving
the entire island. And we have established a depot in
Montego Bay to serve the western end of the island.”
Goldson maintains that even though the two busi-
nesses are different, the company’s mission state-
