Letter From The Editor

Dear Readers,

The final quarter of 2023 is in full swing for businesses across the stunning Caribbean Islands. While tourists may be soaking up the sun and serene shores of this tourist haven, and flights continue to bring in visitors to take in the region’s many breathtaking flights, thriving companies and organizations are gearing up for a busy financial quarter.

For our team at Business View Caribbean, time never stands still as we bring you another in-depth edition. We take you on a monthly journey of island life while expertly covering world-class companies, airports, and Government entities based in the region.

For this issue, we were privileged to speak with two integral government-related organizations representing the needs of residents on the American Virgin Islands- Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority and the Virgin Islands.  Both entities are hard at work with dynamic initiatives to meet the growing utility and housing requirements of its growing population base.

We learned that the Virgin Islands, similar to other regions throughout the Caribbean, face a  continued need for new housing stock and affordable housing and utility options as we move beyond the constraints of the pandemic. With the expertise to match the demand, these two organizations are setting sail on much-needed housing and infrastructure options.

If there is one thing that strikes a chord with our editorial team when bringing you local success stories throughout the islands, it boils down to resiliency. One only has to look at the success of the local economy, despite the woes of a prolonged global pandemic to see how the region has the expertise, talent, ingenuity, and fortitude in every sector to welcome dynamic growth.

We hope that as you enjoy the remaining days of summer, you learn something more about a region of the world that is ripe with opportunity and an area that we are privileged to cover, bringing in-depth features straight from its sealined shores.
